CIM Qualified
At University of Leeds, I studied Communications and Cultural Studies with Media which I really enjoyed. This lead me into marketing, where I went on to study marketing with the CIM. I completed the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing in 2018 which is designed for senior marketers looking to deepen their strategic and leadership capabilities. I wanted to do the course because it covers critical areas such as strategic marketing planning, risk and reputation management, and the integration of digital transformation into marketing strategies. It not only enhanced my ability to align marketing strategies with business objectives but also gave me the confidence to lead complex campaigns and drive impactful results.
But…my learning doesn’t stop there. I am always looking to learn and I prioritise that in my working week.

I have been fortunate to work across various sectors, including property investment, financial services, tech firms, and the public sector. This experience has given me valuable expertise in targeting diverse markets, from SMEs to enterprise organizations across the UK and EMEA regions.
Insurance
I worked at Griffiths & Armour for seven years, initially as a standalone marketer within their professional indemnity insurance division. Over time, I expanded the marketing function by hiring a direct report and introducing MarTech tools to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy.
During my time there, I managed a wide range of activities, including events, social media, website management, content creation, internal communications, campaigns, and marketing collateral. I also played a key role in a company-wide rebrand and the launch of a new website.

At the Growth Platform as a Senior Marketing Manager for Place & Investment, my role was to promote the Liverpool City Region for inward Investment globally. Whilst there, I shaped the marketing strategy and marketing plan which included developing a customer value proposition, PR plan, rebrand and new website.
One of the key areas of the marketing strategy was to create sector specific campaigns targeting Health & Life Science, Digital Creative + Tech, Professional Service and Advanced Manufacturing organisations into the Liverpool City Region.

I join Bottomline Technologies after they had purchased a company who had Direct Debit solution, so I was looking after that solution. Once everything had been rebranded, we quickly moved on to building out a multi-channel marketing approach which included ABM, PPC, content marketing, key events. We created a solid SEO approach to a new micro-site for this solution.
I have also had further tech sector experience at IQ Blade who were the in-house marketing agency for TD Synnex. There I lead a number of campaigns for different technology vendors.
